Sunrise Point – The highest point of Mahabaleshwar is about 1,439 meters. People reach early there to watch the beautiful sunrise and enjoy the scenic views. It is also known as Wilson Point, which was named after Leslie Wilson. He was the Governor of Bombay.
Mahabaleshwar also has the Connaught Peak, which is the second-highest. People choose to walk along the hill station exploring deep forests, waterfalls. Adventure lovers choose to trek to different points such as Babington Point, Kate’s, and Lodwick.

How to reach Mahabaleshwar
Pune is closest to this hill station. A family long-distance scenic drive is also a good idea. Crossing the hills and catching on some local dhabbas is such an experience. You can also hop onto a train to the closest railway station, Satara, and Wathar. Mumbai to Mahableshwar distance is not too far for a cool family drive.
