It is also known as Nature garden away from the city, not like a garden you find in your towns, but these are untouched and extremely clean, serene, and beautiful.
They also have slopes where you can glide down and play around with friends. You will see locals grazing their doemstics and singing songs. Trekking is a great opportunity here.
You will come across several Pine trees. Himlayas is filled and dominated by Chir Pines, which also has an ecological feature. It’s around 3,000 km across the lower ranges.
You will also come across the iconic flowers called Buransh ( Rhododendrons). These are pink, yellow, white, and red and have many ayurvedic and health benefits.
You can try some buransh juice, which is just like roohafsa, but it’s too hydrating and yum. You will find them only on higher altitudes while you climb and trek. Their blooming season is from March to May. It’s also the state tree of Uttarakhand. So once in Chopta, if you see such trees and flowers don’t forget to check them out.
Chopta is located right in the middle of Panch Kedar. It has great spiritual significance, and it’s also a base for many treks. and a base camp to the 5 major temples of Lord Shiva.
