Summer Drink toh Banta hai woh bhi Thandai, Nimbu paani, rooqfzaa ya go sugarcane juice, aam panna. When summer is here, we can all think of having something cool to cool down.
Well not necessary that you will be home this summer, as you might be in some other part of the country, either on a personal or a professional trip. School vacations can take you on a vacation trip anywhere in and around India.

Summer weathers do vary from places and their geographic location. Hence, every city or village has something cool to offer to u. From local to authentic drinks, summer coolers are a total chill when consumed chilled. So, whichever place and city you are, let me take you to the best places you can cool yourself down

Summer Drink

Summer mein summer drinks kaha milegi badiya walli

Babei beyo is a Kashmiri summer drink popular with rose syrup, milk, and sabjha seeds. With some great nutritional value, it’s a must-try drink.

Gond katira, a natural edible gum, will be observed when you try your hand at falooda, smoothies and sharbat. You will find them in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.
When in Himachal Pradesh, try their local lugdi, that’s rice beer. Well, it’s fermented and has some percentage of alcohol too.

Also, get your hands on apple ciders and vinegars here, as it has some amazing apple gardens and farms, which are organic too. Don’t miss burns sharbat, which is made from Rhododendron flowers in Himachal.

Lassi is one of its kind and a favourite summer special blended with yoghurt, sugar, and at times even some kesar. Malai maarke milegi superb apne North and Punjab vich.
A drink made from black carrots, beetroot and mustard seeds is again a must-try in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab.
A nostalgic soda we are all fascinated by today and loved, known as Banta – Goli soda. Popularly available in Delhi, I’m a fan of lemon, the favourite, but now you get it in different modern tastes too.

Malwas have shikhanji as thick hung curd and a sweet milk-based drink, whereas in other regions it’s known as lemon drink, with rock salt, sugar and mint leaves.
Thandai, I think, is one of the best Indian drinks one can try their hand at. A blend of paste with nuts and spices makes it perfect. Chilled and thandi is aahaa for the stomach.

Desert being super hot if you happen to be there specially in Rajasthan, then you need to try imli ka amlana. Made from imli sugar and ice.
Gujrat nu variyal sharbat, meaning saunf drink is full of coolness, added with mushroom, sugar and fennel seeds. Also, try komal a drink with a base of coconut milk, coriander, salt and sugar, which is yummy.

Also, Gujarat and Maharashtra have a liquid kesar shirk hand called piyush. The best is to try it cold. Mango season is here, and so is a drink called mastani. Originally from Pune, it is made from ice cream, mango, milk, sugar, and topped with fresh mangoes and dry fruits.
Look for the best mangoes, as you can’t miss going bonkers with aamras.
From Maharashtra to Gujarat, having the best of it, the rest of the country equally enjoys this summer mango fest.

Tangy, sweet, and so refreshing, the kokam drink is tooo yum to handle. Find it on the Konkan belt, and you can carry its can back too. Also try Sol kadhi, which is made from coconut milk, garlic and chillies, yet again a superb taste and addictive.

Travelling to Tamil Nadu or down South, you will come across Vasantha Neer.
It’s made from Coconut water and honey. Buttermilk is everyone’s favourite drink. But in Kerala, you will find it, chilled, with spices and the taste of ginger chillies.
Good for the gut and weather conditions. Also, kulukki sharbat is a lemon drink made in a sealed can with sugar syrup, lemon and sabjha.

Summer black berries, famously known as jamun, are used as jamun juice, kulfi, etc., in states such as Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and many more places.
