Trekking Rules Follow Kiya hai kabhi! What is Safe! What is Unsafe!

Trekking
Trekking is something we all one to experience once in life . People love to explore in different ways in life. Some are avid luxury travellers, while others go on an adventure. We try to research and figure out what trekking is and how to go about it. Many choose solo, while many choose a group, or many just go on a hill climb with friends. Some just climb temple routes on a mountain range.
But do you know all that glitters isn’t gold? In the same way, don’t consider trekking as a fun activity or a picnic. Its sport and an adventure in the real world in the forest.
Are you even mentally prepared for it? Or are you a person who just watched any random movie or heard about it and packed your bags for it?
In a recent case of Babita Pandey, a 24-year-old trekker. She went missing at the end while she was on a famous trek route called Dayara Bugyal. The trek is very well-known, and many people go there every year. It has some mystic lakes, flora, and fauna. The question here is, is it safe to go on a trek with just one or two friends? Around 120 personnel are on a search for this girl.
Another trekker was lost at Pindari Glacier, too.
Around 15-30 people in a year go missing or are killed while trekking.

Mostly, the high-risk zone is in the Paravati valley and has people who have disappeared. Why does this happen? Well, it’s many a time our mistake and many a time situations that are not in our hands.

Some incidents happen due to some main reasons that come from not following the mountain rules and group rules of adventure companies. A company that doesn’t have any formation or rules that needs in a organized trek.  aderlaine freaks who just want to trek solo and don’t listen to locals or follow any weather alerts.

Yes, of course, India is a safe place to wander around in forests and mountains, but rules apply. There are a few things one should keep in mind.
Trekking is definitely a hobby that includes physical, mental, and emotional power and interest.
But first and foremost comes the safety and security of yourself and the group. Be it a simple walk to a temple, a trail in the forest, or a one-day trek or hike to the summit, or walking towards a waterfall.

Going for a weekend trek or camp, or a week treks towards the mountain ranges. Or you’re an expert and head to an expedition or Everest and the 8,000s.

You could be anyone, a normal person who likes fitness, adrenaline rushes,
or a professional trekker and mountaineer.
All have to follow one rule- Know the sport, know the mountain, know how to go about it! You can’t just go there on a vacation or just for a fun trip.

How can it get unsafe?

If you’re unaccompanied by a professional group, a sherpa, or local leaders.
Unpredictable weather can make you get stuck anywhere in the mountains or forest.
If you’re stuck in a place where its impossble for you to come back to civilization, then it will take some days for people to rescue to just like the Babita Pandey case.

You can also encounter some wildlife that you alone won’t be able to deal with. Hours of walking will make you tired, and you will need some local help or stay to rest it out.

Solo women can face some difficulty with safety, as there are no network zones in and around the forests and mountains to connect in case of an emergency. You may get sick and get altitude sickness, so better to check your fitness levels before you try to climb up to the summit.

Also, if you’re an avid influencer or love posting on social media, you need not take risks to go out of the way to click a selfie or video.
Mountains can also have a psychological strain on you, so you need to be mentally tough.
