Chitwan – Find a faraway home in Nepal

Chitwan

Chitwan, where is this? Going beyond borders, there is yet another massive list of places one wishes to visit. Our bucket lists can overflow with the places you can cover in this lifetime. Our mind boggles with the places we can explore and discover. Wishing we had more time in one lifetime to reach and live a life in each place.

India has a lot to cover but how about going to our neiboring countries. I swear a lot of us travel with a tour plan and has a well planned trip. We go through all those hassels to pick a  travel company with whom we can have a fun and memorable trip.

With wake hours on time and attendance full only then can you follow the hustle and bustle of the trip planned by the company. For many, it’s concerning with the time frame of their vacation days, and hence they want to cover as much as they can see in that one particular place. It’s definitely hectic for some, and for a few it’s the way they enjoy a destination. Meeting new people on the trip is yet another way people build connections.

But not all enjoy a trip planned. Yes, we are talking about all those who love the adrenaline ways. Just go to that place and live local. Some definitely do a bit of research on it and plan a little, but they opt out of the common trip plans with the company.

Well when we say this there is a huge opportunity for us to go to places that are not on a company trip plan. Usually they take you to the famous tourist destinations in that particular place. You hardly get a lot of time to immerse yourself locally.

Whereas if you’re travelling on your own, it gives you more avenues to stay longer in any place. Go without a timetable, and you don’t necessarily visit the touristy spots.

Here is where the fun begins. Living local is the best way to learn about the place, locals, culture, traditions, the food, music, dance, and create memories that can last forever.

The locals are also quite welcoming and have some great homestays. One such beautiful place you can explore is all the way in Nepal. It’s called Chitwan, which also belongs Nirmal purja who is famous for his heroic victories in the mountains and is resting at a peak in heaven.

Chitwan - a beauty

Nepal will thrill you with some great places, mountain-borne landscapes, and greenery to see. There are 77 districts that you can explore here, and one of them is Chitwan. It’s in a province called Bagmati. It is in southwestern Nepal.

This place is quite far from the tourist spots. It has beautiful lowlands and wildlife. One can breathe fresh air and watch some beautiful flowers and landscapes. It has a very rich biodiversity too. It has great culture and traditions to explore. It is very much untouched by the huge tourist population, so it’s a solid recommendation from us to directly come her and enjoy Nepal in its truest way.

It has many mixed groups and communities that reside here. Earlier, there were people called the Tharu who lived here. Mountain and hill communities have a different lifestyle, and hence it’s much more fun to live their way and understand their lives.

With the local life, you can definitely visit some places in your area. You can’t miss the amazing wildlife sanctuary here. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the Chitwan National Park. Nestled in the greenery and mountains here, you can enjoy a jungle safari. You will also be mesmerised by the place called Sauraha. It has a beautiful gateway, and it’s known as the gateway village of Sauraha.   Enjoy the local Chitwan food and shop the local handicrafts.

You can’t miss the beautiful lakes all by the side here specially the massive 20k lake system famously called the Bishazari Tal. Imagine sitting by this beauty and capturing your favourite picture for your next post.

If you’re into a lot more about this place, you should visit the cultural Tharu Museum. You can get to know a lot more about this place in the museum.

The locals here will take you to the holy river called the Devghat Dham. Here you can pray or just sit by the serene water and meditate.

Imagine having a wholesome experience like this.
